Debbie Schaffner Mayor, Village of Baltimore
The Common Sense Choice
I am running for Mayor because it’s important to me that the Village of Baltimore remains a small town. Growth is vitally important and I support it; however, I believe that growth can be achieved in a responsible manner in order to protect the small town living as we now know it. I also believe it is important for the incoming Mayor to be knowledgeable about the issues facing the Village now and in the coming years. As a current member of Village Council, I have that knowledge.
I grew up in Baltimore and am a graduate of Liberty Union High School, as well as The Ohio State University. While I left Baltimore after college to live and work in Columbus, I eventually returned to my hometown to enjoy the comfort of small town living. I live in the house I grew up in with my dog Sparky and two cats named Oscar and Chansu. I am semi-retired and currently employed part-time by a nonprofit organization and have the flexibility to be able to devote as much time as is needed to oversee the village.
I encourage Baltimore residents to visit my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SchaffnerForMayor for updates to my campaign and to ask any questions!
