Columbus, Ohio- Tomorrow, Thursday March 27th, the Ohio Democratic Party will host a Day of Action to urge Governor DeWine to veto Senate Bill One. All day, Ohioans will join the Ohio Dems team to call Governor DeWine and urge him to veto this dangerous, out-of-touch legislation.
If signed, Senate Bill One will drive Ohioans and businesses away from the state. While families are desperate for a competitive education, good-paying jobs, and a government that invests in our state’s future, Republicans would rather spend their time irreparably harming our state over unproven theories.
“Senate Bill One would be disastrous for our state’s future if signed into law,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chair Elizabeth Walters. “That’s why Ohio Democrats across the state are taking action and telling DeWine to veto this dangerous legislation. We’re hoping DeWine will hear us loud and clear- and we’re encouraging all Ohioans to join us and make their voices heard.”
Ohioans can contact Governor DeWine at (614) 466-3555 or (614) 644-4357. Ohioans can also reach DeWine by filling out this linked form.
