Columbus, Ohio- New Ohio Senators Jon Husted and Bernie Moreno have both been in office for months now, but reporting from ABC 6 revealed Ohioans are still having trouble reaching their senators.
While Ohioans struggle with the cost of living, Senators Husted and Moreno are spending their time in Washington rubber stamping Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s billionaire-first agenda. They know Ohioans don’t want them to only work for the wealthy and powerful- so they’re dodging their constituents.

- ABC6/FOX28 a month ago investigated several complaints from constituents who said they could not get in touch with either senator. Senator Moreno has four offices listed on his website– those are in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Washington, D.C. The Columbus office is in the Bricker Federal Building downtown, which was briefly on a General Services Administration list of buildings to sell. Senator Husted has one office in Washington, D.C., listed.
- ABC6/FOX28 called all of those offices one month ago, and no one answered.
- ABC6/FOX28 on Wednesday called all the offices again. No one answered in Senator Husted’s office and three of Senator Moreno’s offices. However, after placing three consecutive calls to Moreno’s Cleveland office, a staffer answered.
